THE FOUNDING
Founded in January 2017
The firm was founded to close a structural absence Mr. Teel observed across nearly a decade of CFO and senior financial leadership inside midmarket enterprises—not a gap in expertise, but a gap in accountability for execution. The midmarket enterprise had access to full-time executives whose cost and scope were fixed to its ability to carry them, and to outside firms that brought expertise but arrived from outside the organization. Neither closed the gap that mattered most. Teel & Company was designed against that observation as the operating relationship that closes it.
FOUNDER
Chuck Teel CPA, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Over more than two decades, Chuck has worked inside midmarket enterprises across industries and operating models, with direct responsibility for finance, operations, and cross-functional execution during periods of growth, restructuring, and international expansion. The firm's institutional architecture and operating commitments were designed against that career observation. Across the firm's embedded client work, Chuck formalized the body of work he calls Enterprise Science and published The Five Enterprise Domains in 2026.
